First-Time Nominee Shaboozey Set To Represent DMV At CMA Awards

The spotlight continues to shine on Virginia's standout star Shaboozey, who is set to be a featured performer at the CMA Awards.

Following his Grammy nominations and the announcement he would be playing the halftime show during the Lions-Bears Thanksgiving game, the Woodbridge native is set to be prominently featured at the popular award show.

A first-time CMA Awards nominee, Shaboozey is up for "Single of the Year" and "New Artist of the Year" and will also perform at the event. 

Other performers already announced include Dierks Bentley, Bryan, Sierra Hull, Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, Ashley McBryde, Post Malone, Chris Stapleton, Teddy Swims, Thomas Rhett, Molly Tuttle, and Wilson.

The show, hosted by Peyton Mannin, Luke Bryan, and Lainey Wilson is set to air at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20 on ABC.
